A perfect skiing holiday in Lech am Arlberg
If you’re going on a skiing holiday, then make it legendary! Whether it’s Omeshorn, Mohnenfluh or Rüfikopf, whether it’s Kriegerhorn, Wöster or Valluga – the well-known peaks around Lech gleam wonderfully white in winter. If you choose a skiing holiday on the Arlberg, you will be completely caprivated by them. 305 kilometres of perfectly groomed ski slopes await you, as Lech, Oberlech and Zürs are connected to the rest of the Arlberg region via the Flexenbahn cable car.
On your skiing holiday you can discover the Arlberg on your own or let a trained ski instructor guide you – whether on skis, with a snowboard or off-piste while freeriding. If you want to add variety to your Arlberg skiing holiday try cross-country skiing on the 27 kilometres of trails. Or take a walk on one of the well-signposted winter hiking trails – ideally with a toboggan in tow.
If it’s too cold or too windy outside during your skiing holiday on the Arlberg the sport.park.lech offers many opportunities to exert yourself physically: in the gym, bowling, tennis, badminton, volleyball, handball or football. You can find out what else there is to do in Lech in winter locally or here in advance.
Skyspace Lech in winter
When architecture and art meet, space and time can open up. This is what happens in Skyspace-Lech, designed by James Turrell in Oberlech. It is a structure that is almost entirely underground, the open and moveable dome of which both opens and constricts the view of the sky. After dusk, the play of colours makes the room seem to disappear or a ganzfeld effect can be visualised in the dome area.
Step into a new dimension of space.
