Winter activities

Experience fairytale enchantment, glittering winter magic and legendary fun on the slopes. Experience Lech am Arlberg in its white splendour.

Snow, mountains and more

Whether it’s Omeshorn, Mohnenfluh or Rüfikopf, whether it’s Kriegerhorn, Wöster or Valluga – the almost legendary and well-known peaks around Lech gleam wonderfully white in winter. They are really enchanting and invite you to explore them yourself. This can be classically on the perfectly groomed ski slopes (all 305 km) – Lech, Oberlech and Zürs are connected to the rest of the Arlberg area via the Flexenbahn. You can go on your own or in a group with a ski instructor trained at the highest level. Choose skis, a snowboard or off-piste freeriding. Or go cross-country skiing to clear your head on 27 kilometres of track. You can choose from one of the numerous, well-signposted winter hiking trails or go tobogganing. Incidentally, you can easily get ski passes from us in the hotel.

If it’s too cold or too windy outside, you can get your physical exertion in the sport.park.lech in both winter and summer: in the fitness studio, bowling, tennis, badminton, volleyball, handball or football.

You can find out what else Lech and its surrounding area has to offer in winter on-site or here in advance.

Skyspace Lech

When architecture and art meet, space and time can open up. This is what happens in Skyspace-Lech, designed by James Turrell in Oberlech. It is a structure that is almost entirely underground, the open and moveable dome of which both opens and constricts the view of the sky. After dusk, the play of colours makes the room seem to disappear or a ganzfeld effect can be visualised in the dome area.

Step into a new dimension of space.
